Tiburon Hillside

After years of neglect the planting on this hillside was in need of a makeover. Driven by the site conditions, a steep slope with magnificent views of the San Francisco Bay, the spaces were re-imagined with a drought tolerant plant palette. We created a series of moments as you move through the garden, which can also be viewed from the house above. For part of the year this garden is irrigated by rainwater captured from the roof and stored on site in cisterns. We continue to enjoy watching this garden grow and mature.
