Sonoma Estate

Refined Naturalism

The owners of this Sonoma estate wanted a timeless, low water garden that flowed effortlessly into the surrounding oak woodland. We created a series of outdoor entertaining areas that soften the edges between the cultivated and the wild. Mulched garden paths connect the pool terrace, fire pit and vegetable garden. Local field stone is used to terrace the gently sloping site. A subtle color palette of silver, lavender, and blue is used for the drought tolerant plants throughout.
